Thank you so much for all of the hard work that went into this party. The venue that is located in Issaquah is called Modest Manor. The gorgeous venue is now open for weddings. The event was designed by JBK Weddings who did a beautiful job with the 80’s theme. They used hot pink and royal blue tablecloths, and gorgeous bright flowers settings that were wrapped in gold cassette tapes! The VIP area had floral displays by Delightful Details in a colorful theme much like Alice in Wonderland, which was shot at this venue. Unique and Chic Rentals and Events also gave us several beautiful pieces including lawn games, and a photo booth board that added fun twists to the decor. AA Party Rentals provided our entire party set up including: tables, chairs, table settings, bar, and glassware.
Our Alice in Wonderland model was on site in full bridal wear (also showing off she has lost more than 30 lbs!) and rocking the gorgeous wedding dress provided by A Princess Bride Couture. The food was provided by The Upper Crust Catering. They had a wonderful unique spread including: Salami Sandwiches, Grilled cheese with Gazpacho shooters, milk and cookie shooters, and several other food items. Cakes were provided by BAKED in Seattle. The cake – OMG wow! The mocha/chocolate was rich and delicious, but my favorite by far was the vanilla coconut. I told them to “surprise me” with one flavor, and they did and then some. So if you are in the market for cake, BAKED is incredible. They are located in West Seattle and have a friendly staff that will help you create a beautiful design with incredible taste.
Photography was done by Stephanie and James Wall – Stephanie Walls photography. We will soon we releasing all photos from the event. There were several vendors on site including: Shawtue Shelby (Younique), Citali Creativo, Unique and Chic Event Rentals, JBK Weddings, Delightful Details, One Hope, and The Wedding Geek.
The music was provided by Mytikal Projectz DJ Ray. He keep the party going with an all 80’s music list. A huge thank you to huge list of people who helped with the event: Jelena, Fawn, Fred, Tania, Holly, Gayle, Shawtue and her Mother, Rachel, Dustin, Hannah, Josh, Amanda, Alex and her husband, Dawn, Jackie, Mike, Jeff, Michael and his team,Eric and many more.
